My Minolta XG-M. Was my dear grandmother's camera, and it remains my favorite. Probably will always be. :)

I've still got my old XG-M, and an X700, too. There are things I miss about them... =(

I love the focus metering on these. Very little doubt that your focus is correct when using this camera. :)

I agree. I am a more precise photographer with my old film cameras. :)

The lenses are better too, and that helps.

Nice camera. Do you still use it frequently?

I have recently come back to it. I found a place which will develop film to negative only, so I can scan the photos I want only. I hope to use it quite a lot in the upcoming year.

Thank you!

ok, good to know. Here in France it is more or less impossible to buy a film. Years ago I used Ilford BW films but these are now impossible to get. I'm looking forward to see some of these pictures in your gallery !

That is sad! I love my film! I would likely cry bitter tears if it became impossible to obtain film.

If you feel like checking it out, I do have some older film photos from a trip to Europe here. :)

Hi Jeffrey.

On this topic, I want to share this with you : [link]

I do use this software since a few days (XMas Present ;-)) and I must admit that digital pictures once processed are looking like being shot with films. You can download for free and try.

Let me know what you think.

Take care,

Mark
